Dota 2 Ringmaster Release Date: What We Know So Far

The highly anticipated Crownfall event has just been introduced to Dota 2, and it has brought with it a plethora of new content to the game including a free-to-play story event, two new arcanas, treasure chests, and more. However, a portion of the community remains unhappy with this update as Crownfall contains no sign of Ringmaster — the upcoming Dota 2 hero.

For the uninitiated, Ringmaster has been confirmed to be the next hero to be added to Dota 2.

Scheduled to make his debut in 2024, Ringmaster’s arrival comes more than a year after the introduction of the game’s previous hero, Muerta.

So what do we know so far about Ringmaster’s release? Wasn’t he expected to come with the Crownfall update? Is he even coming this year?

Let’s try to answer these questions.

Ringmaster Release Date in Dota 2: What You Need To Know

Ringmaster was initially revealed to the Dota 2 fans during the opening ceremony of The International 2023 back on October 29th. Since then dataminers had revealed on social media forums that Ringmaster would join the roster of Dota 2 heroes with the Crownfall update.

However, with the Crownfall update finally dropping on April 18th, several Dota 2 fans were left disappointed as it contained no traces of Ringmaster.

So when is Ringmaster actually coming?

As per an official announcement from Valve, Ringmaster will be introduced to Dota 2 in ‘early 2024’.

This means that fans can expect the new Dota 2 hero to arrive before June, possibly during the ongoing Crownfall event.

A number of Dota 2 players have also speculated that Ringmaster will be added to Dota with the Crownfall Act 2, which will be unveiled on May 14, 2024.

Note that no further announcements have been made by Valve regarding the release date of Ringmaster, so take this with a grain of salt.
