Heroic Joins Dota 2 Scene With South American Lineup

Renowned esports organization Heroic has recently announced their entry into the Dota 2 scene by disclosing their South American roster led by veteran pros Héctor “K1” Rodriguez and Elvis “Scofield” Peña.

K1 and Scofield undeniably stand out as two of the top South American Dota 2 professionals. K1 achieved a noteworthy top-eight finish at The International 2023 with the former Nouns Esports roster. Following K1’s departure from Beastcoast in June 2023, it was only after The International 2023 that Scofield left the team.

Alongside the duo, the new Heroic Dota 2 roster is also set to include Brazilian talents João “4nalog” Giannini and Matheus “KJ” Diniz, alongside Belgian pro Cedric “Davai Lama” Deckmyn.

Following the announcement, here’s what the complete Heroic Dota 2 roster looks like:

  • Héctor “K1” Rodriguez (Carry)
  • João “4nalog” Giannini (Mid)
  • Cedric “Davai Lama” Deckmyn (Offlaner)
  • Elvis “Scofield” Peña (Position 4 Support)
  • Matheus “KJ” Diniz (Position 5 Support)
  • Igor “kaffs” Furtado (coach)

Fans of South American Dota will be able to catch the Heroic Dota 2 roster live in the upcoming combined North and South American qualifier for BetBoom Dacha Dubai 2024, which is scheduled to take place from 7th to 10th January.
