Mineski’s COO publicly apologizes to Anthony Hodgson

The on going ruffle between Anthony ‘Scantzor’ Hodgson & Mineski took a sharp turn last evening. Orrin Xu, the COO, has publicly apologized.

The controversy picked up when Scantzor accused several renowned SEA organization of ill-treatment & unfair practices. Another accused in the controversy, Entity Gaming, had earlier responded to the allegations, denying misconduct.

The full statement from Orrin Xu

Hi, I’m Orrin, the current COO of Mineski Pro Team. On behalf of Mineski Pro Team, I’d like to sincerely apologize to @scantzor on how he was treated during his time at Mineski Pro Team.

Unfortunately, as much as I’d like to say we are beyond this, the reality is scant’s time at Mineski was befitting of anyone working for the team. Whether its living conditions, treatment of staff, or the circumstances around your dismissal, we lacked showing of basic human decency, and for that I apologize personally and on behalf of the team & any one else in the company who demonstrated that towards you.

In regards to the issues such as Mineski CSGO, it was a failure from our side to plan ahead, which affected the players experience. This issue has already been rectified for all of our existing teams.

I’d like to believe since then, Mineski Pro Team has improved its conditions and treats all our employees fairly. We have enacted significant change across the board, whether it’s living conditions, salaries & general employee/player well being. Under my watch, I am trying to bring this up to a standard that i’m satisfied with and until then I consider it a failure of my job.

I wish you the best for your future endeavours, and hope your experiences there will be vastly better than how you were treated here.

Cheers,
Orrin
