Not long ago, just ahead of the new year, WePlay! hosted the second Minor of the 2019-2020 DPC. The event turned out to be one of the most successful and also the most-watched DPC Minor ever. It was not only because of the amazing teams but also due to the outstanding production.
WePlay! Tug of War: Mad Moon is the final chapter and third iteration of the series that is set to be played February 19th-23rd in Kyiv, Ukraine. Even though it’s not going to in the DPC, eight teams will be battling for the trophy and a share of $300,000 prize pool.
Team Nigma, the WePlay! Bukovel Minor 2020 champions are announced as the latest addition to the tournament joining Team Secret and Gambit Esports into the direct invite list. Other team’s ticking their names on the list are Ninjas in Pyjamas which were winners of Tug of War: Radiant online event last year, while Royal Never Give Up and Infamous are coming as the winner of the Tug of War: Dire Asia/America championships and the last we know is Natus Vincere who claimed the WePlay! Reshuffle Madness 2019.
We now know the names of seven out of eight teams that will be going to this tournament, talking about last, it will be announced in the coming week as the event is not far long from today. We all know how amazing WePlay! is and the effort they put in with flawless execution of the event, it’s definitely going to be another very interesting tournament.
