PGL Wallachia Season 1 will feature sixteen of the finest Dota 2 teams from across the world battling it out for a lion’s share of the $1 million prize pool.

PGL Dota 2 Wallachia Season 1: Schedule & Format

The group stages of the PGL Dota 2 Wallachia Season 1 are scheduled to kick off on 10th May 2024 and will continue for six days before ending on 15th May. All the games in the group stages will be best-of-threes, with the teams competing in a modified Swiss system.

The top eight teams from the group stages will find themselves advancing to the playoffs, where they’ll compete in a double-elimination bracket from May 16-19. All the games in the playoffs will be best-of-threes, with the grand finals being a best-of-five.

PGL Dota 2 Wallachia Season 1: Prize Pool

As mentioned earlier, the PGL Wallachia Season 1 Dota 2 event will feature a total prize pool of $1 million.

Here’s the detailed prize distribution of the tournament:

  • 1st place: 300,000 USD
  • 2nd place: 175,000 USD
  • 3rd place: 120,000 USD
  • 4th place: 80,000 USD
  • 5th-6th place: 60,000 USD
  • 7th-8th place: 40,000 USD
  • 9th-11th place: 20,000 USD
  • 12th-14th place: 15,000 USD
  • 13th-16th place: 10,000 USD
