Sorla Khan Might Be The New Dota 2 Hero In 7.28

The upcoming patch is set to arrive tomorrow.

Following a long wait of several months, since the last major patch 7.27 landed in Dota 2, it seems like the MOBA title by Valve is finally gettings its highly anticipated patch 7.28 tomorrow. Furthermore, fans will also be getting another surprise in the form of a new hero, the identity of which is currently unknown.

However, it seems like players have already started speculating on what the new hero will be, and the answer might just be none other than ‘Sorla Khan’, the leader of the Red Mist army who replaced Axe.

The speculation comes from a number of reasons, the primary reason being the fact that the update has been termed as ‘Mistwood’ by the Dota 2 devs. ‘Mistwood’ might be hinting towards the Red Mist Army, which is led by Sorla Khan.

There are also a number of Sorla Khan references hidden in the voice lines of the heroes in Dota 2. Till now, the 4 heroes that mention Sorla Khan in their voice lines are Dark Willow, Pangolier, Juggernaut, and Pudge.

Luckily, fans won’t have to wait much further to find out the identity of the new hero. The 7.28 update is scheduled to arrive on 17th December, which is just a day from now. The update is also set to bring a number of additional changes to the title including changes to the gameplay and hero fixes.

Needless to say, the Dota 2 player base has plenty of reasons to eagerly look forward to the arrival of this new patch.
