The International 2025 Location Revealed By Valve

While The International 2025 is still a few months away, Valve has officially confirmed the venue for the upcoming Dota 2 event in a surprise announcement on January 21st.

The blog post by the devs confirmed that The International will be returning to Germany for its 14th edition, sparking excitement within the game’s community.

For the uninitiated, The International is the biggest annual Dota 2 tournament and one of the most significant tournaments in all of esports, renowned for its gigantic prize pools and intense, high-level competition.

Valve Reveals the Venue for The International 2025 

As disclosed by Valve, The International 2025 will be held in Hamburg, Germany, at the 16,000-seat Barclays Arena. The event is scheduled to take place from September 11th to 14th.

This marks the first time The International is held in Germany since its inaugural tournament in 2011, which took place at Gamescom in Cologne.

In the announcement, Valve further revealed that the sixteen teams attending TI14 will be “a mix of open qualifiers, regional qualifiers, and direct invitations.” However, the finer details of the invites and qualifiers are yet to be confirmed.

Fans looking to scratch their competitive Dota 2 itch while waiting for The International 2025 can opt to tune into the upcoming FISSURE PLAYGROUND #1 and Blast Slam 2, both of which will feature high-stakes gameplay from some of the best teams in the world.
