Yuma Might Join Nigma Galaxy As Their New Carry

Following a disappointing run in the last competitive Dota 2 season, Nigma Galaxy parted ways with two of their star players – Sumail “SumaiL” Hassan and Ammar “ATF” Al-Assaf. While Sumail and ATF went on to join Team Aster and Quest Esports respectively, the situation has cast doubt on what lies ahead for the Western European organization.

Recent leaks indicate that former D1 Hustlers pro Yuma “Yuma” Langlet might be joining Nigma Galaxy as their new carry player. Unlike Nigma Galaxy, D1 Hustlers, who were previously known as D2 Hustlers, had a great run in the last competitive Dota Pro Circuit (DPC) Western Europe (WEU) 2023 Tour 2 Division II. The organization was promoted to Division 1 after finishing top 2 in Division 2.

On May 8, D1 Hustlers confirmed in a Twitter post that the org would be parting ways with Yuma, who played carry for the team.

Following the news, D1 Hustlers position 5 player Egor “Xakoda” Lipartiya revealed that Yuma might be joining Nigma Galaxy in the near future as their new carry.

“Hey guys, just a quick update on our team’s situation. Yuma has been invited to join Nigma Galaxy, and since the organization gave us a long answer about boot camp and conditions he decided that it would be better for him,” the rough translation of a Telegram post by Xakoda reads. “No offense, I wish him luck. I’m sure Yuma will be able to play on the Tier 1 scene in the future, and we will meet again as teammates. Regarding the organization – we’ll know tonight and I will let you know if everything is okay or not. Take care.”

Should this transfer take place, the updated Nigma Galaxy roster would include the following players:

  • Yuma “Yuma” Langlet
  • Kuro “KuroKy” Takhasomi
  • Ivan “MinD_ContRoL” Ivanov
  • Maroun “GH” Merhej

The position 2 player for Nigma Galaxy isn’t known for certain at the time of writing. While speculations have been running rampant about Amer “Miracle-” Al-Barkawi returning to the team, no official announcements have been made by the organization as of yet.
