Now, the developers have released Futties Ultimate Defense Evolution which can make your previous defenders stronger and more usable in the current meta.
Therefore, if you don’t have an unrivaled meta card like Virgil van Dijk, you should definitely go for this evolution as defending is actually harder than anything else in EA FC 24.
EA FC 24 FUTTIES Ultimate Defense Evolution Requirements, Upgrades and Challenges
Here is a list of all the requirements that your player needs to be eligible for the evolution:
- Overall: Max 95
- Pace: Max 96
- Defending: Min 70
- Defending: Max 95
- Physical: Max 94
- Number of PlayStyles: Max eight
- Number of PlayStyle+: Max three
If your defender is eligible for the evolution, here are all the available upgrades for your player:
Level 1 Upgrades
- Passing +1
- Dribbling +1
- Interceptions +2
- Defensive awareness +2
- Standing Tackle +2
Level 2 Upgrades
- Strength +2
- Aggression +2
- PLayStyle: Intercept
- Passing +1
- Dribbling +1
Level 3 Upgrades
- Interceptions +2
- Defensive Awareness +2
- Standing Tackle +3
- Strength +2
- PlayStyle: Block
- PlayStyle+: Bruiser
Now you have to complete the following challenges to complete the evolution:
Level 1 Challenges
- Play two Squad Battles matches (or Rivals/Champions) on minimum Semi-Pro difficulty using your active EVO player.
- Win two Squad Battles matches (or Rivals/Champions) on minimum Semi-Pro difficulty using your active EVO player.
Level 2 Challenges
- Play three Squad Battles matches (or Rivals/Champions) on minimum Semi-Pro difficulty using your active EVO player.
- Play two Rivals or Champions matches using your active EVO player.
Level 3 Challenges
- Play three Rivals or Champions matches using your active EVO player.
- Win three Squad Battles matches (or Rivals/Champions) by at least two goals on minimum Semi-Pro difficulty using your active EVO player.
