Isaacson’s account in the book mentions that Musk’s sole reason for making this request was his belief that Heard had an uncanny resemblance to the Overwatch character Mercy, without providing any additional details.
Elon Musk has responded to this news going viral by sharing the photo of Amber Heard in the said cosplay. While fans have gone crazy, Heard is yet to reply on this. There is a good chance that this is the first time she has surfaced to the limelight since her divorce debacle which can be the reason why she hasn’t responded to any of it yet.
