Entity started on the CT side of train and how, shutting down a fast ivy to b push through CT spawn to win the pistol round. Entity converted the following rounds to make it 3-0. Bren were put on a quasi buy and tried to enter through ivy but the entity defence held strong.
Bren took a technical timeout and the tide soon turned. The Filipinos had a clean take at a and registered themselves on the board. Bren went for the b site in the next round, with Pro having to convert a 1v2 to defy entity.
Bren played the anti-eco well and witz ensured they levelled the scoreline with an audacious 1v4 with the big green gun at a.
Entity then brought one back to lead again but the rest of the half belonged to Bren. The Filipinos seem to have found an Achilles heel in entity’s defence at b and targeted the site to end the half 10-5 in favour of Bren.
They started where they left off winning the pistol round in a 3v3 retake at A and converted the following rounds to race to a 13-5 lead. It took a scrappy but brilliant 1v3 from psy to get entity on the board and break Bren’s streak. But, the round proved to be a one-off as Bren did not let entity back into the game and swiftly completed the rout, winning all subsequent rounds and converting the first match point to win with a 16-6 scoreline.
Entity will now face GTV.Revolution, who were knocked down by Vici in an equally one sided 16-3 scoreline.
