With Psy parting ways with the team, Tejas “Rite2ace” Sawant has also been released by the organization, the latter announced today on their Facebook page.
With having joined Entity at the end of November in 2019 replacing Debanjan “DeathMaker” Das, Ace along with his company was unable to perform as the team chemistry didn’t hit the correct gear which saw them suffer a plethora of poor results at the WESG 2019 South Asia Qualifiers where they were knocked out by Bhavin “HellRanger” Kotwani and his men in the do or die stage with previously suffering a loss against BL4ZE led by Agneya “Marzil” Koushik. After the WESG scenario with fire still in their bellies, they did look pumped up for the NVIDIA Geforce Cup Pacific 2019 held at Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. But odds totally seemed against them as they ended the tournament without a single win in their bag. Since then there had been some undefined acquisitions about the team parting ways with the core but the rumoured air was cleared after we did see the roster compete once again at some Lan tournaments. Before this scenario of Entity parting ways with the majority of its core, we saw them lift ESL INDIA PREMIERSHIP WINTER SEASON after beating BL4ZE Esports with a scoreline of 2-1. In the past week, we did witness Entity part ways with Karan “Excali” Mhaswadkar, Chinmay ‘poki’ Mehta.
Today, With more 2 from ETG’s core departing the starting Five, Entity gaming now has Anuj “Amaterasu” Sharma as the lone man standing on the roster. With the departure of the majority of ETG’s core, the future of this roster is now facing some unforeseeable fate. Earlier in January, the organization was weighing up the possibility of shifting its operations to SEA by shuffling the roster but the team would be re-built around Tejas “Rite2Ace” Sawant who now is looking for new opportunities.
