Epic Games Store is paying users to buy games

Epic recently revealed their new rewards program, where they will return 5% of all sales made in their Store. Every user with an Epic Games Store account will be automatically included in this program. The rewards earned will be credited to the player’s account, allowing them to either use it as a discount on their next purchase or save it for up to two years.

It’s worth noting that it takes two weeks for the rewards to be added to your account, as you need to have the game for a certain duration to qualify for the free money, which voids the refund policy.

Epic Games Store has introduced a said system that allows you to earn money back on all your purchases. This program, known as “Epic Rewards,” applies to a wide range of products, from popular game titles to even microtransactions. As the proud distributor of Fortnite and numerous PC games, Epic Games Store is committed to enhancing the gaming experience by providing this enticing opportunity.

In recent years, the Epic Games Store strides to catch up with its competitors namely Steam. The introduction of their rewards system is just one of the many recent additions that positions it as a compelling alternative to purchasing games and comes right in time when said competitor is launching its 90 min free trial policy.
