EPICENTER Major Survival Guide, follow the last Major of the 2018-19 DPC season

The final major of the 2018-19 DPC season, Epicenter kicks off tomorrow. The event is being held in Moscow, Russia at the CSKA Arena. The event is scheduled from June 22nd-30th, with the final 3 days being in the CSKA Arena.

The event is stacked with all the top teams making it to this event.

While most of the teams in attendance have already made it to The International, there are many teams whose TI qualification chances depend on getting a good placement at the major.

The 16 teams are divided in 4 groups as follows:

The group stage will be played out in the usual GSL format, top 2 teams advance to the upper bracket of playoffs, while bottom 2 teams proceed to play in the lower bracket.

The playoffs will be played out in a Double-elimination format.LB Round 1 are Bo1, Grand Finals are Bo5, other games are Bo3.

3 final days of the Playoffs will be held in front of a live audience at the CSKA Arena.

Epicenter recently announced their HUGE talent line-up for the event as well.

The group stages will be casted by the winners of the EPICENTER Casting contest, conducted during the qualifiers.

Most of the teams have arrived in Moscow and are ready to battle it out, come tomorrow.

The prize pool is $1,000,000 USD. The event carries 15,000 Dota Pro Circuit Points, split amongst all teams.

• 2nd: $170,000 | 3000 pts
• 3rd: $100,000 | 2100 pts
• 4th: $80,000 | 1350 pts
• 5th-6th: $60,000 | 900 pts
• 7th-8th: $40,000 | 450 pts
• 9th-12th: $15,000 | 150 pts
• 13th-16th: $10,000 | 75 pts
