ESL Clash of Nations Bangkok 2019 for Dota 2 is all set to take place from October 25-27 at Royal Paragon Hall, Siam Paragon.
Six of the best Dota 2 teams in the Asia-Pacific region will compete for a chance at the $50,000 prize pool and the first ESL Clash of Nations Dota 2 trophy in Asia.
All the participants are current winners of ESL National Championships which includes Indonesia, Thailand, Malaysia & Singapore, Vietnam, Australia & New Zealand, Philippines, and India.
Out of the 6 teams, 4 teams have qualified through their respective national championships while two teams will come in from the Play-ins.
The ESL Clash of Nations Bangkok 2019 main event will feature the respective winners of the National Championship series across Southeast Asia as well as the top 2 teams from the Play-In:

- ESL Indonesia Championship Season 2 Winner
- ESL MYSG Championship Season 2 Winner

With the conclusion of the ESL Indonesia Championship Season 2 for Dota 2 a while ago, BOOM Esports will be the first confirmed team at the main event of the ESL Clash of Nations Bangkok 2019, presented by Mercedes-Benz.
As the Phase 1 winners of the ongoing Fall Season of the ESL India Premiership Masters, Global Esports DOTA 2 squad will be representing India at the event.
Global Esports will compete with teams from ANZ and Philippines Championship in the Play-ins. Two top teams will advance to the main event in Bangkok where the best Dota 2 teams from the Asia Pacific region will take a shot at the massive prize pool and fight for global recognition.
The Play-In phase will be played off-stage on the 24th October where 4 teams will compete using a GSL format to determine the top 2 teams that will advance to the main event.
