Electronic Sports League (ESL), the organiser of upcoming major have revealed that the qualifiers for Rio 2020 major shall be hosted on the latest patch of Counter-Strike: Global Offensive. The tournament organiser took Twitter to officially announce this move.
The North-America and Europe open qualifiers are set to commence today while the update was shipped just yesterday. The players might require a timeframe in-between to be familiar with the crucial changes of three active-duty maps – Dust II, Mirage and Train.
The update has opened skyboxes at B site on Dust II and Ivy on Train while Mirage has received half a dozen changes throughout the map. The update nudges towards strategy heavy game-play.
