Arlington, Texas – (November 12th, 2019) The Esports Awards, the most prestigious night in the esports calendar, is pleased to announce luxury automaker, Lexus, as a sponsor for this year’s ceremony. The high calibre sponsorship marks Lexus entrance into esports with a premier edge as the Esports Awards black-tie event celebrates the industry’s elite.

Lexus will provide supercars from Black Panther and Men in Black International films plus the GS F 10th Anniversary Edition at the Esports Stadium Arlington. Situated inside and outside of the stadium, both the general admission audience and VIP attendees will receive an exclusive look at the one-of-a-kind, luxury supercars. A number of esports celebrities will also be involved in content pieces where they will get the chance to experience them up close and personal.

The three luxury supercars will provide the perfect centrepiece to cement a successful year in esports. With 2019 being hailed as a momentous year, and the market set to surpass $1 billion in revenues, there is much to celebrate. With Lexus’ involvement in the Esports Awards, there is a clear message that non-endemic brands are committed to helping support the rapidly growing industry.

“It’s an honour to be able to host Lexus and three of its supercars at this year’s ceremony. With the Esports Awards now in its fourth year, it’s great to be able to work with a prestigious brand who is committed to driving the esports ecosystem forward.” – commented, Tom Mercey, CEO and Co-Founder, Esports Awards.

“At Lexus, we are excited to make an entrance into esports with an event which shares the same attention to creating unique personal experiences. The LC 500 luxury performance coupe featured in the Black Panther movie, Men in Black International inspired Lexus RC F coupe, and GS F 10th Anniversary will provide the perfect backdrop for the black-tie celebration.” – said, Lisa Materazzo, Marketing Vice President, Lexus.

Founded in 2015, the Esports Awards is one of the only events that celebrates and honours the biggest names in the esports industry. After three thriving years hosted in the centre of London, the annual ceremony heads state-side for the first time. Taking place on November 16, the $10 million Esports Stadium Arlington state-of-the-art facility provides the perfect location for an evening of top-tier celebration. Hosted by the likes of Eefje ‘Sjokz’ Deporteere and Alex ‘Goldenboy’ Mendez, the biggest names in esports will have a rare chance to network with professionals from all areas of the industry. Everyone from top esports athletes to supporting agency will be in attendance.

“At Esports Stadium Arlington, we pride ourselves in creating industry-defining experiences for global and regional fans of esports and gaming. We are excited to be welcoming the Esports Awards to the stadium over the next three years and to be hosting global brands such as Lexus at our state-of-the-art facility.
