Upon coming into Shanghai Major with good form, MOUZ has been overpowered by a shaky-looking FaZe Clan. FaZe got off to a shaky start and having lost their previous game, they secured a much-needed win against MOUZ which put them within the touching distance of the next stage.

Opening the map with a pistol win, MOUZ managed to get a quick 2-0 lead which FaZe leveled as soon as the guns came out. Upon leveling, they went on to post a string of rounds putting MOUZ on the backfoot which they couldn’t recover from in the first half. Having dominated on the T side, FaZe walked into the second half with an 8-4 cushion.
MOUZ put more resistance to FaZe on their T side where a smooth pistol round win helped close the gap between the two teams. MOUZ managed to 5 rounds early on in the half but FaZe were quick to adapt before things got out of hand. broky and frozeN led by example as MOUZ managed only one more round before FaZe shut them down, winning Inferno with a 13-10 scoreline.
With all the expectations, MOUZ has no room for error as a single loss would translate to their elimination from the Major. On the contrary, FaZe was not expected to secure a win over MOUZ but having done so, they can potentially book their playoff spot with a win tomorrow.
