Tencent Games, the publisher of PUBG Mobile announced the next iteration of the PUBG Mobile Global Championship. PMGC 2022 is the biggest global event in the PUBG Mobile Esports which features the best teams from all regions. It will feature a massive prize pool of $4M USD whereas the organizers have increased the number of slots to 48 as compared to last season.
PMGC 2022 will take place in two phases, League Stage and Finals. The league stage will commence from 22 November and will consist of 48 teams from the regional pro leagues. The top 13 teams from the league stage will then qualify for the Grand Finals which is scheduled to take place in January 2023.
PMGC 2022 Finals qualified teams
As stated earlier, Three teams will get the direct slot in the grand finals. Team SMG from the Chinese region was the first team to confirm their ticket to the grand finals after winning the PEL Summer 2022. Whereas Nova Esports and LGD Gaming qualified for the league stage.

The organizers have not revealed the qualifying criteria for the rest two slots. Although one slot is expected to be provided to the host country.
PMGC 2022 League Stage qualified teams
The teams would qualify for the league stage through various criteria such as Chinese teams through PEL Summer 2022 and Regional Clash. While all the regional teams will get the opportunity to qualify through PMGC points and pro leagues. Here is the list of teams that qualified through the PMGC qualification points.
