TSM reveals Valorant roster for 2023 pro circuit

For the foreseeable future, TSM will be a part of the Challengers circuit, which will allow them to qualify for the Ascension events and ultimately the Americas league in 2024.

The champion of each Challenger division will advance to the next level of competition in the international league with the Challengers Ascension series as the deciding factor.

Yassine “Subroza” Taoufik, a veteran player from the mousSpaz lineup that TSM acquired in 2020, has not yet joined the team. North American esports team re-signed former player and in-game captain James “hazed” Cobb, as well as recruited Nicholas “naturE” Garrison from the Immortals and Gen.G Esports.

Rainbow Six Siege coach Jacob “Daeda” Hale said that Subroza has sought time away from competitive gaming but would likely return.

NRG Esports cut ties with Hazed after the team finished 5th-6th in the VCT NA Last Chance Qualifier and was eliminated from playoff contention. Hazed, who has spent the majority of his Valorant career participating in VCT Qualifier and Challengers events, has returned to the squad he has had the most success with.

Prior to the introduction of Valorant in 2020, TSM was regarded as one of the finest teams in the North American area. Under Hazed’s direction in-game, the team won two Ignition Series tournaments and placed second in First Strike North America.

Nonetheless, TSM’s previous two VCT campaigns in 2021 and 2022 were unsuccessful due to the team’s ineligibility to participate in the Masters and Valorant Champions tournaments.

The team’s roster has had numerous changes during the past two seasons.
The squad avoided a full-scale roster overhaul by recalling veterans Corey “corey” Nigra and Anthony “gMd” Guimond.

The two players made the announcement that over the offseason they would be given permission to seek new opportunities; nonetheless, they ended up coming back to play for the team.
