Evil Geniuses’ star Arteezy hits 11K MMR in Dota 2

Following several weeks of intense grinding, EG star Arteezy has finally surpassed the 11K MMR mark. The 24-year-old shared the news through a tweet today.

Arteezy is a Canadian Dota 2 pro who currently plays as a position 1 carry for his team Evil Geniuses. Besides him, the North American organization boasts two more players in the 11K mmr zone including midlaner Abed and the pos 4 support Cr1t. The latter crossed the 11K mark only recently after a month and a half of effort towards the achievement.

Arteezy holds the #2 spot in the North American leaderboards, followed by Quinn “Quinn” Callahan, the Quincy Crew midlaner who he refers to in his tweet. The #1 spot seems to be occupied by a suspected abuser. His teammate Cr1t is currently ranked the #1 in the competitive leaderboards of European Dota 2, while Abed holds the #2 spots in the American and Asian leaderboards respectively.

EG fans will certainly be eager to look forward to seeing this team consisting of three of the 11K MMR wielders in the game take on The International 10 when it finally arrives on August 2021.
