Developed by Bethesda Game Studios, Fallout 76 is an action RPG game that was released in 2018. Even though the game was quite popular among RPG fans, recently, it hit the highest-ever player count on Steam.
While players were waiting for Fallout 4 next-gen update, Fallout 76 broke new records. Apparently, the free-play weekend of Fallout 76 and the success of the Fallout TV show started skyrocketing the concurrent player counts.
Today, Fallout 76’s concurrent player count touched the 39,455 mark, beating the previous 33K player count back in 2020. Right now the game is free to play on Steam for a limited period of 3 days.
Previously, the developers also introduced a free-to-play week for Fallout 76. However, at that time the game didn’t become as popular as today. All the credit goes to the Fallout TV show which is available on Amazon Prime Video.
