FAU-G is the Indian game title that recieved a lot of popularity since its announcement. The game has always been regarded as an alternative of PUBG Mobile since the latter’s ban and finally after a couple of months, the release date of FAUG has been revealed.
The game launched its first ever trailer on the auspicious occasion of an Indian festival and the game is filled with a sense of patriotism and respectful admiration for the Indian army. The bollywood actor Akshay Kumar released the game’s trailer on his Twitter handle and soon afterwards, the game developers nCore released their own statement confirming the launch in November 2020.
The trailer depicts the bravery of Indian soldiers and shows the stints of Galwan Valley incident. The gameplay or any kind of hands-on experience is not revealed yet but the trailer indicates towards a possibility of this game being a story mode.
As FAU-G was seen as the replacement of PUBG in India despite the co-founder rejecting the claims. The game was always assumed to be released in the battle-royale genre but that is not the case. It can be potentially a story-based multiplayer or solo game which depicts the valor of Indian army.
The game has not only kept the army as the centre of attention but also promised to aid them. FAU-G will be making a generous contribution towards a good cause by donating 20% of the total revenue generated to the “Bharat ke Veer” Trust. The release date of FAUG has been confirmed to be in the November 2020 and considering the pattern, the game can be expected to be launched on the next big Indian festival of Diwali.
