FaZe Banks breaches COVID-19 guidelines on New Year Eve during a mega party

FaZe Banks is no stranger to internet controversies. The 29-year-old co-owner to FaZe clan has found himself amid heated situations quite often over the past year. It wasn’t long ago that Banks was under fire for throwing a surprise party at the Hollywood sign in LA and deemed it as a photoshoot to prevent the police from breaking it up.

Only weeks later since the incident, it appears like Banks has managed to gain the internet’s attention once again as he has uploaded a video capturing another massive New Years’ Party thrown by him on his Instagram story.

Needless to say, most people weren’t impressed by Banks’ actions as this goes in direct violation to the official US health advice asking people to maintain a distance of at least six feet between each other.

Many prominent esports personalities have expressed their concerns at this party thrown by Banks.  Rod ‘Slasher’ Breslau has said in a Tweet, “that’s not very FaZe up of Banks to spread covid like this.”

He also proceeded to mock him on one of his previous Tweets that said, “This corona s**t has officially moved from being a meme to a serious fkn problem clearly.”

FaZe clan hasn’t made an official comment regarding the incident as of yet.
