FaZe Clan announces collaboration with Disney

After winning, the PGL Antwerp Major 2022, the American gaming organization Faze Clan finally announced a year-long apparel collaboration with the multinational entertainment conglomerate Disney. Due to this collaboration, Faze and Disney will bring out a tech revamped version of the popular Mickey Mouse character named “Mickey on the Grid”.

The limited-edition collection of Faze and Disney will be launched on 28th May in The Armory store and for online shoppers, it will be available from 30th May.

The Mickey on the Grid limited edition collection will come up with T-shirts, sweatshirts, and hats. All those apparels will be designed by Disney creative team along with Faze Clan’s Lead Designer James Casper Vine and Creative Director Jay ‘JVY’ Richardson.

This year-long collaboration is a part of our ongoing expansion into retail and consumer products. Myself and the product team at FaZe are honoured Disney trusted us to take a creative and modern approach to such an iconic character like Mickey Mouse, and we are excited to continue developing innovative concepts that will bring Disney’s beloved characters to life through a shoppable product.

The Faze X Disney collaboration is quite significant as Faze’s Creative Director implied that numerous other Disney characters could also take an entry in future drops. This collaboration will also strengthen Faze’s presence in the apparel sector.
