FaZe Clan wins PUBG Europe League, EU’s PUBG Global Championship teams decided

FaZe Clan delivered an incredible performance in the final week of PEL Phase 3 as they took home two consecutive PEL in Phase 2 and Phase 3 after missing out on Phase 1. The team clinched 51 points in the final six matches to grab the first spot above Team Liquid.

On the final day of the tournament, Team Liquid trailing behind FaZe by 18 points for the top spot and on the bottom of the leaderboard, Digital Athletics, Raise Your Edge, Pittsburgh Knights and GamerLegion fought it out to avoid the last two spots of relegation. In addition to retaining title, FaZe Clan booked their spot at the PUBG Global Championship as PEL Phase 3 winners. Six slots are allocated in the European region, on account of their performance in previous global events, the other slots were allocated based on PEL Performance points, which were an aggregation of the points earned by teams in the second and third phase of PEL.

This phase also set a new record for the highest kills by a player in PEL, Adouz1e grabbing 138 frags to his name, beating the previous record of 130 kills set by Itzz_Chrizz of G2 Esports in the second phase. Sambty of Team Liquid and Ubah of FaZe Clan were second and third with 134 and 132 kills respectively.

Europe’s representatives at the Global Championship are:

  • FaZe Clan – Auto-Qualify (728.1 points)
  • Team Liquid – 702.9 points
  • Natus Vincere – 656.4 points
  • Team SoloMid – 642.8 points
  • G2 Esports – 602.9 points
  • CrowCrowd – 587 points
