With recent semi-final finishes and not being able to grab the trophy, FaZe Clan isn’t happy with their recent performance. FaZe Clan lost to Virtus.Pro at the semi-finals in Hungary at V4 Future Sports Festival. Since then, Olof “olofmeister” Kajbjer has decided to step down from the active roster due to ‘personal reasons’.

Further, FaZe Clan revealed through it’s official Twitter handle that the Swedish legend, Richard “Xizt” Landström would replace Olof “olofmeister” Kajbjer for a period of two months. During a practice scrim between FaZe Clan and BIG, Richard “Xizt” Landström was already seen playing for FaZe Clan. Whereas, Olof “olofmeister” Kajbjer has been offline on Steam since past seven days.
According to neL, Olof “olofmeister” Kajbjer has been benched due to personal reasons and conflict of interest among the team. FaZe Clan also announced that it has already signed Richard “Xizt” Landström and he has been added to FaZe’s ESEA roster.
The 27-year-old has been away from the pro scene when he was replaced by Dennis “dennis” Edman on NiP. He was recently negotiating with Fnatic to replace Maikil “Golden” Selim but it didn’t proceed after Fnatic won two back to back events under Golden’s in-game-leading.
Jokes aside, it is true that @olofmeister is stepping down from the team due to personal issues and he will be back in our roster as soon as he feels 100% ready to play again, take care Olle. Until then, welcome @OfficialXizt to our team, exciting months ahead of us 👊 #FaZeUp
