Kylian Mbappé’s entry as the cover star of the FIFA franchise started last year in FIFA 21. Today, EA Sports confirmed that the PSG star will be the cover star of FIFA 22 as well.
Mbappé will be the first athlete to stay as the cover star for two consecutive years after Cristiano Ronaldo who was the cover star of both FIFA 18 and FIFA 19.

EA has confirmed that the official reveal trailer will be premiered on 11th July and the countdown on the official YouTube channel has already started.
Apart from that reveal trailer, EA has also teased an EA Play event on 20th July where they will show off “an extremely cool new addition to an extremely popular and long-running EA SPORTS franchise”.
Numerous FIFA lovers are wondering what will be new in FIFA 22. Apparently, the tweet reveals that FIFA 22 is going to have “Hypermotion Technology” and it is going to be “Powered by Football”. No one actually knows what these terms actually mean.
