FIFA players love to open Ultimate Team packs that provide them player cards, sometimes you get lucky and sometimes not. Finally, the highest Dutch court ruled that FUT packs are no longer gambling in the Netherlands.
Previously in 2020, the Court of The Hague ruled that opening FUT packs come under gambling and also ordered Electronic Arts to remove those packs from FIFA. Moreover, the Hague court added that €500,000 will be added as a fine for every week they didn’t comply.
Now finally the highest court of the Netherlands has ruled that buying and opening FIFA Ultimate Team packs don’t come as an isolated game and those packs are a part of a game of skill.
