FiveM Is Coming to Consoles: Report

FiveM on Consoles: A Dream Becoming Reality?

According to reports, FiveM the platform that players use for GTA RP and other modifications when playing GTA Online is likely to arrive on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S consoles.

Cfx.re, the team that developed the technology behind FiveM was acquired by Rockstar about a year ago. The community assumed that their services would likely be a part of GTA VI when it will arrive in the coming months. However, any developments were delayed given the legal disputes that occurred during the acquisition.

It was known during the acquisition that Rockstar was developing their in-house services to rival FiveM however, the acquisition changed that narrative. GTA Focal, a reputed source has pointed out that the developers have something in store to release in early fall which is likely a conversion tool for FiveM. It is further stated the consoles will also be getting an update which is likely to be access to the platform.

Despite this, the community remains pretty passive about the reports. With GTA VI on the horizon, it can assumed that fans are not all that excited about anything that comes with GTA V given most are getting suited for transitioning to the new game.
