The OGA Dota Pit Online Europe + CIS Edition is ready to commence tomorrow onwards, 13th of May, Wednesday. Although just a day before to the event, Na’Vi was one of the ten teams alongside powerhouses like OG, Secret that were invited to the event, and now Na’Vi has withdrawn from the OGA Dota Pit Online.
Na’Vi had an unfortunate end to their run at the WePlay! Pushka League. Na’Vi dropped straight 4 games in the hands of Secret and Alliance in B03 series each and the very last game that Na’Vi lost against Alliance was because of a regrettable mistake by mid-laner of Na’Vi, Idan “MagicaL” Vardanian, who got caught off-guard alone having Divine Rapier on Medusa while going to take a Bounty Rune on his own. This resulted in the Rapier to go in-hands of NikoBaby on Shadow Fiend and led Alliance to a massive comeback win in a game that was already almost won by Na’Vi.
There’s no official word yet about Na’Vi pulling out of the tournament, neither by Natus Vincere themselves nor by the organiser of the event. However, the news is confirmed on the event page on Liquipedia and it also states that FlyToMoon is going to replace Na’Vi.
FlyToMoon, a team which was a dark horse who prevailed against OG and Virtus Pro at the EPICENTRE XL in 2018, till date has the same mid-laner Bogdan “Iceberg” Vasilenko and once again is going to brawl together with OG and Virtus Pro at the OGA Dota PIT Online. However, a lot of things have changed in the past years from former players, patches, new neutral items, and whatnot. Against all odds, will FlyToMoon once again is going overpower others? Time will only tell.
