Fortnite: First Person View Mode Leaked By Data Miners

The most successful battle royale game might be getting a first-person view option soon as per new data-mined information.

According to reliable leaker and data miner HYPEX, Epic Games is secretly working on a first-person camera view mode for the game. Files related to a first-person mode were recently data-mined after the latest update of the game.

“FIRST-PERSON CAMERA IN FORTNITE 🔥

This update Epic began working on some stuff about first-person camera mode but there’s no other info about it at the moment as it looks like it’s still in early development. Would work REALLY well for the Zero Build Modes” — HYPEX (@HYPEX)

HYPEX mentioned that Epic Games has just barely begun working on the first-person mode. Fully adopting a new camera mode into a vast game like Fortnite will definitely take some extra developer hours to debug and fix everything in order to deliver fans a snappy experience.

Since Fortnite has always been a third-person view game, a permanent first-person view mode will break many things and introduce a number of glitches in the game which Epic Games will need to address before even thinking to offer a beta version.

A certain group of community members and players have always been asking Epic to add a first-person view mode to the game and with the latest data-mined information those fans can rejoice. With the Zero Build mode disabling the ever-so-popular build mode in Fortnite, many fans believe that a first-person view mode will fit perfectly in the game as the third-person view mode isn’t a necessity now.
