Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 3 has been out for almost a week now. The game faced heavy criticism from the gaming community after the new season rolled out. The issue that most players experienced was the overpowered cars combined with the new Nitro Mechanic making it impossible to compete against them. Epic Games has now responded and released an update making a few changes like unvaulting Boogie Bombs and adjusting balance in the game.
In a post on X, Epic Games released the patch notes for the new update to Fortnite. As we already knew that Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 3 was heavily based on the new cars and the Nitro Mechanic, but that has changed with this update, let’s take a look at all the changes:
- Added Boogie Bombs
- Reduced Machine Gun Turrets accuracy and Grenade Launcher Turrets damage to structures.
- Reduced vehicle health in Solos.
- Boss cars do not automatically regen health anymore.
- Boosted damage dealt to vehicles from Boom Bolts.
- Increased Nitro Gauntlets recharge time.
- Reduced Nitro shoulder bash damage to players.
This update came as a response to the complaints from the community, where the Overpowered cars had become a menace in the game. Combined with Nitro Mechanic in the game, the cars were able to tear down walls without any effort. The update guarantees that the cars and Nitro Mechanic are taken a notch to make the game competitive for everyone.
