Fortnite star Turner “Tfue” Tenney and FaZe clan have finally settled their ongoing lawsuit which lasted for more than a year.
The lawsuit was launched in May 2019 by Tfue claiming that FaZe had been withholding his share of money from him and taking huge cuts from his earnings, which the organization later denied. Months later, in August 2019, FaZe countersued Tfue and alleged that he had violated his contract with the clan by attempting to form a rival organization.
A year later, on 26th August, court filings indicate that both Tfue and FaZe have agreed to dismiss the ongoing lawsuit.
Tfue’s attorney and a FaZe clan spokesperson sent a joint statement to The Hollywood Reporter. The statement reads, “FaZe Clan and Turner Tenney are pleased to announce that they have resolved their disputes and settled their litigations. The parties wish one another the best of luck in future endeavors.”
This dispute between Tfue and FaZe can easily be termed as one of the biggest employment lawsuits in esports. Even though the dispute is now settled, it’s still unclear if they will work together anytime soon.
