Fortnite Winterfest 2022: Start Date and Rewards

The highly anticipated Fortnite Winterfest is here and Epic Games have hinted towards the start date, rewards, skins quests and everything that it will bring to the game. As the name suggests, Fortnite Winterfest will be the holiday season-themed event that Epic brings to the game every year, with 2022 being no exception.

Given how much Epic Games pay attention to the events right on the edge of the new year, we assume that more such events are on the line however, the lawsuit did not seem to have hindered their progress by the looks of it.

Fortnite Winterfest 2022 Start Date

Although we are deprived of an official announcement from the developers, it is highly likely that the event will start on the 15th of December and will run for 3 weeks in several layers. The release date will be accompanied by the rewards, skins and quests. It is likely that the official announcement comes in a day or two.

Epic Games did confirm that they will be implementing the winning map of the Winterfest Callout content. The fan favourite island from the contest will be featured in the game with the update.

As discussed, we are missing a plethora of details about what exactly will grace the game during the event but it is safe to assume that the whole island will be covered with snow and several winter-centric items will be integrated into the maps.

The event will incorporate a plethora of rewards and will give the gamers a lot of room to earn a ton of XP through them. New skins and pickaxes will be available in the store so it is better to have topped up your V-bucks.
