Epic Games Offers Second Chance to Fortnite Cheaters

Epic Games has always been quick to provide bans on anyone caught messing with competitive integrity. We’re talking about serious consequences like lifetime bans. It’s the kind of zero-tolerance policy you expect in a competitive game like Fortnite.

According to ShiinaBR, Epic is doing something unexpected. They’re offering a lifeline to some players who previously got caught cheating. This April, a chunk of those banned accounts are apparently going to be reactivated. It’s a surprising move, especially given Epic’s reputation for taking strong steps to maintain competitive integrity.

However, it doesn’t mean every cheater will get unbanned. If you were in the business of selling or distributing cheats, you’re still out of luck. If you only used cheats for yourself then you will have to beef up your account security to ensure you stay clean.

Apart from that, the developers are still going after the ones selling accounts or developing cheats. They are also determined to take legal action against such cheat sellers and developers.
