The Season 1 Map for Fortnite, Chapter 4, has been released. Loopers and the Paradigm worked together to reassemble the Zero Point and create a new map during the Fracture event.
There are several new places on the map in Chapter 4. Although some, like Fatal Fields, are similar to original places, most of the zones are all new. This presents an opportunity to venture into uncharted regions.
Everything we know thus far about the Season 1 Fortnite Chapter 4 map is here. The following section will cover every new location in the popular video game and discuss other intriguing elements from the latest chapter.
The new Battle Royale map for Fortnite was created by piecing together different islands’ worth of territory. The map was shown in the closing cinematic video of the Fracture live event.
The following is a rundown of all of the new areas that have been added to Fortnite :
- The Citadel
- Anvil Square
- Shattered Slabs
- Frenzy Fields
- Breakwater Bay
- Slappy Shores
- Faulty Splits
- Lonely Labs
- Brutal Bastion
The player can now explore a portion of Slurpy Swamp, which is one of the most well-known locales in Fortnite Chapter 2 and has partially returned to the game. However, instead of Slurp Juice, the factory now manufactures Slap Juices, which are alternative beverages that can be consumed to restore health.
This place reminds me of the industries at Dusty Depot, which appeared on the first map of Fortnite. Before they were demolished in Chapter 4, these factories were a great place for players to land, and they are very much liked by players.
The map of Fortnite now features an edge that is clearly seen for the first time. When one considers the process by which the island was created, this should not come as a surprise. It remains to be seen, however, if these edges will be relevant to the storyline of the forthcoming chapter.
In addition, the developers have incorporated certain relics from previous Fortnite seasons. The Tilted Towers clock in action at the most recent live event may be seen in the video that can be found above.
