The new Fortnite Quest Rewards have brought a fresh element to the Battle Royale experience. Unlike before, where rewards were only given for leveling up, players now must complete weekly quests to earn exclusive rewards.
The rewards for Fortnite quests each week allow players to access skins by finishing all the quests for the week but in Chapter 5 Season 2, there seems to be some confusion. Initially, the first set of rewards was meant to be unlocked after completing Weeks 0 to 3 but this hasn’t happened due to a bug. Even if you’ve completed the quests, there is a chance that the reward hasn’t made it to your inventory.
Epic has stated that each set of rewards is linked to the wrong quests. Players will receive page 1 rewards upon completing the next set of quests, instead of the ones they were supposed to get. This has caused some confusion among players. However, once all quests are completed, everything should be sorted out.
What’s strange is that Epic has now claimed that page 1 was supposed to be for week 5-6. This goes against their usual practice of linking page 1 rewards to early quests. It seems like a mistake has been made somewhere along the line but as mentioned before, completing all the quests will fix the issue and players will have all the rewards anyway, it may not be ideal but something we can live with.
