Fortnite Season 7 is right around the corner and with it, Epic is adding new content as well as a graphics update for PC users. In season 7 will be dealing with aliens and alien invasion as the pre-season UFO spottings, crop circles, player abduction, and destruction of TV sets have already hinted about.
While the information regarding the graphical update is very limited, Epic has said that the new graphics update will add improved postprocessing features for lens flare, bloom, and shadow quality. The update 17.00 is also bumping the recommended PC specs for the “Epic” preset to:
- Nvidia GTX 1080, AMD Radeon RX 5700 XT, or equivalent GPU
- 4 GB VRAM or higher
- Intel Core i7-8700, AMD Ryzen 7 3700x, or equivalent
- 16 GB RAM or higher
- NVMe Solid State Drive
- Windows 10 64-bit
The Recommended and Minimum specs will remain the same. So the graphic update will be pushing more graphical effects on the “Epic” preset, while other presets will remain the same.
