Free Fire City Open 2021: Teams, Prize Pool, and all you need to know

Free Fire City Open 2021 City Finals is just four days away and we have our top 12 teams from each city. Free Fire City Open 2021 is a first-ever multi-city tournament featuring 8 cities in India. Top teams from all around the country will be competing to win share from the Rs 60,00,000 prize pool and champions title. The tournament will be ending with the National finals which are scheduled to held on 15th August 2021.

ABOUT FREE FIRE CITY OPEN 2021

This is the first time Garena has brought a multi-city event. The top teams of the country will be competing with each other while representing 8 cities. The cities are as follows – Delhi, Mumbai (Maharashtra), Hyderabad (Telangana), Ahmedabad (Gujarat), Kolkata (West Bengal), Chennai (Tamil Nadu), Lucknow (Uttar Pradesh), Visakhapatnam (Andhra Pradesh).

FFCO 2021 is divided into 6 phases starting with the ingame qualifiers, FFC Mode, City Finals, Wildcard Finals, City Play-in, City Play-in Finals and National Finals. Separate finals will take place for different cities where players will represent their respective cities and will qualify for the national finals.

  • FFC Mode Qualifier: April 26th – 30th, 2021
    1. Top 12 teams from each of the first 8 selected cities to City Finals
    2. Top 12 teams that are not from first 8 cities to Wildcard Finals
  • City Finals: June 15th – July 9th, 2021
    1. Top 1 Teams in each City Finals qualified to National Finals
    2. 2nd to 4th from each City Finals to City Play-in
  • Wildcard Finals: July 16th, 2021
    1. Top 2 qualified to National Finals
  • City Play-in: July 20th – 23th, 2021
    1. 24 Teams are split into two groups of 12 teams
      • Top 6 in each groups to City Play-in Finals
  • City Play-in Finals: July 30th, 2021
    1. Top 2 to National Finals
  • National Finals: August 15th, 2021

Free Fire City Open 2021 has a massive prize pool of Rs 60,00,000 which will be distributed among the top 12 teams of the national finals. The most valuable player of the tournament will be awarded Rs 50,000. The team with the most kills in finals will be awarded Rs 1,00,000.
