Esports Championship Series (ECS) Season 5 LAN Finals will be the first tournament for the revised G2 Esports’ line-up. ECS Season 5 will be held from June 8 to June 10 at SSE Arena, London. According to G2’s manager, this composition is experimental and the final decision will be taken by the management before ESL One Cologne 2018. Until that moment, Kévin “Ex6TenZ” Droolans will act as a stand-in, since the remaining players have on-going contracts with the organization.

G2 Esports has benched Nathan “NBK” Schmitt and Dan “apEX” Madecler from the active line-up. Their places will be filled by the former in-game-leader and G2’s coach – Richard “shox” Papillon and Edouard “SmithZz” Dubourdeaux respectively. Instead of Oscar “mixwell” Cañellas, who left team earlier, G2 acquired the service of Kévin “Ex6TenZ” Droolans.
Time to back on track! I will attend the ECS Finals together with Ex6TenZ, bodyy, kennyS and SmithZz. Excited to compete again with these guys 😍
Let me clarify that to date, our long-term perspectives are not yet clear but we are working with G2 in this directionshoxieJESUS
