One of Europe’s top Counter-Strike: Global Offensive groups, G2 Esports, has been purchased out by North American association FaZe Clan, the associations declared Wednesday.

The team was purchased for an undisclosed fee and the transfer is effective immediately. G2 Esports’ CS:GO division initially came together under Team Kinguin, and during their time with G2 have risen to become a top contender Europe despite multiple roster changes.

FaZe Clan is currently participating in numerous events such as the Acer Predator Masters Season 2, and is set to play at the upcoming DreamHack Leipzig from Jan. 22-24.

The group was obtained for an undisclosed charge and the exchange is taking effect right now. G2 Esports’ CS:GO division at first met up under Team Kinguin, and amid their time with G2 have ascended to wind up a top contender Europe regardless of numerous program changes.
