GameSquare acquires FaZe Clan

Following months of back and forth between GameSquare Holdings and FaZe Clan, both parties have announced the acquisition of the latter by the former.

The acquisition will see the core/founding members of FaZe Clan retain certain rights within the organization. FaZe Banks, FaZe Temperrr, and FaZe Apex lead the brand and reestablish authenticity. While FaZe Clan will continue to operate in ways that improve their engagement, the deal will be aimed at “Increased Scale and Expanded Capabilities Creates Next Generation Media Company Positioned to Drive Compelling Outcomes for Creators and Maximize Brand Partners’ Return on Investment”.
