Battlefield 2042 System Requirements revealed

Battlefield 2042 will be going through closed internal testing from August 12 to 15 over six sessions and each session will have a limited playtime between 3 to 9 hours. According to DICE, “the Technical Playtest will be in a closed environment and under strict NDA” and “only a small group of participants will be able to join.”  Players who are interested in joining similar tests can register on EA’s Playtesting portal for a chance to get invited to any future tests.

This test is similar to the one Halo Infinite’s recent flight, and DICE has emphasized that the “Technical Playtest is purposefully not intended to be the full experience you will see in the Open Beta, or at launch” and it won’t reflect the final version of the game. This technical test will be focusing on cross-play features, which means players on PC, Xbox and PlayStation will be queued with each other.
