Call of Duty: ‘Vanguard’ release date and other details got leaked

This year’s Call of Duty title will be helmed by Sledgehammer Games, who previously worked on 2017’s Call of Duty: WW2. Vanguard also seems to be set during WW2 and will reportedly follow the same formula as Modern Warfare and Black Ops: Cold War.

According to leaks, Vanguard will supposedly have three editions; a Standard Edition which only includes the base game, an Ultimate Edition which includes the Frontline Weapons Pack, Operator Skins for Lucas, Polina, and Wade, double XP tokens, an exclusive emblem as well as early access to the upcoming Open Beta. Lastly, Vanguard will also have a cross-gen bundle.

Vanguard’s launch also means more content for Warzone as the battle royale will be integrated with the upcoming game, and players can expect a new map set in the Pacific Islands along with new weapons, vehicles and operators, and more.

Activision themselves have somewhat acknowledged the leaks as they tweeted a short snippet from Vanguard’s leaked trailer, indicating that an official reveal is likely coming soon before the game (apparently) releases on November 5, 2021, while Season 1 will launch on November 23, 2021, integrating Warzone to the game.

Call of Duty: Vanguard will release on PC, Xbox One & Series S|X, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5.
