Season 5 of Warzone is set to release on 12 August with tons of fresh content such as new Operators, Multiplayer Maps, Modes, Perks, and Weapons.
COD Black Ops Cold War Season 5 Game Modes
Season 5’s biggest attraction is the introduction of the new Double Agent game mode. In Double Agent, 10 players will be assigned to one of three roles; Operatives, Investigators, and Double Agents. The Investigators and Operatives must work together to find and hunt Double Agents before they plant explosive charges on the map and each role will offer a unique experience thanks to their custom perks and load-outs. Along with Double Agent, players can expect Demolition game mode to return later in Season 5.
According to Call of Duty’s recent blog post,
Two teams battle it out as attackers attempt to destroy a pair of active bombsites, while defenders must prevent the detonations. All-out chaos ensues when time is extended after the first bomb site is destroyed, and you’d better be prepared with plenty of Scorestreaks and squadmates for backup should one final bomb be planted at the last second.

Players can expect a total of 5 new maps this season, with 3 of them releasing on launch with Season 5 while the other two will be added down the line.

COD Black Ops Cold War Season 5 Weapons and Operators
The Season 5 update adds four new weapons to the game, with the EM2 Assault Rifle, TEC-9 SMG, and the Cane melee weapon being accessible as soon as Season 5 begins while the Marshal secondary weapon will be added later to the game.
The EM2 Rifle will be unlocked at Tier 15 of the Season pass while the TEC 9 will be unlocked at Tier 31. Players can unlock the Cane and Marshall by completing a challenge or by purchasing a blueprint bundle from the in-game store.
Season Pass owners will also get access to one of the three new operators – Kitsune. Kitsune will be unlockable at Tier 0 and her ultra-rare skin will be unlockable at Tier 100 while Stryker and Hudson will be a part of Season 5’s in-game store bundle which can be purchased using COD Points.

The new season will be unlocked “following updates to Black Ops Cold War on August 10 at 9 PM PT and Warzone on August 11 at 9 PM PT.”
