Dying Light 2: Pre-order Bonuses, PC System Requirements, & more

The sequel to Techland’s critically acclaimed survival-action game, Dying Light is set to launch in 2022 after being delayed from its original December 7, 2021 release date.  Dying Light was a treat both gameplay-wise and graphically when it was released in 2015, and unsurprisingly, it still holds up well. Although Dying Light 2 seems to be having development issues behind the scenes, it aims to provide polished and refined gameplay and visuals over its predecessor.

Techland has revealed the system requirements for Dying Light 2 and it seems that most configurations will require some settings to be turned down to medium, or even low to provide a playable experience as according to the official requirements, a GTX 1050Ti or RX 560 paired with an Intel i3-9100 or AMD Ryzen 3 2300x is required for “Full HD 30 FPS” on Low settings, while an RTX 2060 (6GB) or RX Vega 56 paired with an Intel i5-8600k or an AMD Ryzen 5 3600x is required for “Full HD 60FPS” at High settings. Neither of the configurations has ray tracing enabled which indicates that the game certainly will be quite resource-intensive if it is that taxing without any next-gen tech-enabled.
