Tom Clancy’s The Division goes free-to-claim on Uplay

Once claimed, the owner gets to keep the game forever.

Good news for the fans of Tom Clancy’s shooters, as “The Division”, which generally goes for about $20, has gone free-to-claim on the Uplay store.

The action role-playing video game developed by Massive Entertainment features a post-pandemic world and is set in a near future New York city. The player controls a Special Agent of the Strategic Homeland Division, who is tasked with helping the group rebuild its operations in Manhattan, investigate the nature of the outbreak, and combat criminal activity in its wake.

The Division was first released in March 2016 and was a huge commercial success. Ubisoft stated that the game had shattered the company’s records for the highest number of first-day sales.

The game will be available to claim for a limited time only from September 1-8. Once claimed, the owner will be allowed to keep the game forever and play it at will.
