Valve recently announced that the annual Steam Summer Sale will be kicking off this week from June 23rd and run until July 7th. The 2-week-long sale event is one of the most hyped events on Steam with discounts on almost all games on Steam.
Aside from the discounts on games, there will be a mini-game, mysterious trading cards, badges, profile background, aviators, and more. The mystery cards are already dropping for users that buy games or craft new badges right now. These cards will be revealed as soon as the sale starts on June 23rd.
Right before the sale, Steam has improved the UI of the store to be more intuitive on Steam Deck and make browsing games according to genre a breeze. Aside from search improvements, the recommendations and discovery queue will offer more personal game suggestions.
For those on Steam Deck, the new UI will display compatible games right from the start and also recommend games that work on Deck.
Although it isn’t confirmed yet, we believe that Valve will offer a 5$ discount on purchases of 25$ or more, as they offered in previous sales.
