The upcoming Global Esports Tour fueled by the Global Esports Federation (GEF) is going to get a kick-start this month and GEF has unveiled the planning for that worldwide tour. GEF has officially announced the British esports platform FACEIT as their strategic partner.

Hearthstone, PUBG Mobile, and CSGO are the games to be played across all the Global Esports Tour tournaments. The tournaments will take place in Los Angeles, Riyadh, and Dubai with a total prize pool of $500,000. The money will be divided across the three tournaments.

Chester King, Vice President of the GEF and co-Chair of the Technical, Standards, and Properties Commission said,

The Global Esports Federation is proud to work with the team of experts at FACEIT to further develop our strategies for esports across the world. We look forward to staging the Global Esports Tour in great cities around the world.

The Global Esports Tour will start on 27th September. Apart from the prize pool money, another $500,000 will be spent by GEF for the Global Social Impact Initiatives.

Michele Attisani, co-Founder and Chief Business Officer of FACEIT said,

It’s fantastic to be a part of the Global Esports Federation and to help build the first Global Esports Tour. FACEIT’s ambition is to build a better competitive gaming ecosystem with more opportunities for players and the community. We believe that hosting global competitions such as the GET is another step in the right direction.
